Time flies. This has been such a busy year for the Puppeteers of America. We are celebrating our 75th anniversary year, and held another amazing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalpuppetryfestival.org\/\">National Puppetry Festival<\/a> in Atlanta.\u00a0Guilds hosted events for our National Day of Puppetry and many other puppet- related activities.\u00a0We hope that you\u2019ll <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/membership.puppeteers.org\/\">continue to be part of PofA<\/a><\/strong> and enjoy the fun!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d ask that you take the time now to either <a href=\"http:\/\/membership.puppeteers.org\/\">renew your membership or\u00a0join our organization for the first time<\/a>.\u00a0If you have already renewed, we thank you for your much-appreciated support.<\/p>\n<p>For so many of us, discovering an organization that was made up of like-minded\u00a0creative puppeteers and enthusiasts was a happy surprise. Through PofA, we\u00a0were first introduced to the wide and varied and wonderful world of puppetry. We\u00a0went to festivals where we were encouraged and supported in our efforts by older\u00a0or more experienced puppeteers. We joined a Guild where the fellowship was\u00a0enjoyed throughout the year. <strong>Puppeteers of America brought us together.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your membership supports our festivals, publications and website, as well as\u00a0day-to-day functions of the organization made up of volunteer staff, consultants,\u00a0regional directors, festival staff, committees and so many others. <strong>We do count on\u00a0your membership<\/strong> to maintain these services provided by PofA.<\/p>\n<p>Many members find that this is a convenient time to combine their renewals with\u00a0a <a href=\"http:\/\/membership.puppeteers.org\/index.php?main_page=index&amp;cPath=3\">contribution to the Puppeteers of America<\/a>.
