Dear Fellow Puppeteers and puppet enthusiasts:<\/p>\n

This message comes with a\u00a0reminder\u00a0about the upcoming\u00a0deadline\u00a0for performers, workshop leaders and staff positions for the\u00a02013\u00a0National\u00a0Puppet\u00a0Festival.\u00a0 It also comes with some exciting updates, including information about international performers and the projected, affordable costs for this 6-day\u00a0festival.\u00a0 Just so you know, there\u2019ll be another short\u00a0reminder\u00a0coming your way next week about thisdeadline.\u00a0 I hope you\u2019ll indulge us\u2013we just want to make sure everyone gets their opportunity to take part!\n<\/div>\n

Over 400 puppeteers from around the world and thousands of members of the public will meet on the campus of Swarthmore College from August 5-10,\u00a02013.<\/p>\n

We want you to be one of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reminder:\u00a0 There are only a few days left to submit an\u00a0application\u00a0to perform, lead a workshop or fill a staff position at the next\u00a0National\u00a0Festival!\u00a0 May 31, 2012 is the extended\u00a0deadline\u00a0for Puppet\u00a0Festival\u00a0(r)Evolution, the\u00a02013\u00a0National\u00a0Festival\u00a0of the Puppeteers of America.\u00a0 YOU CAN DO IT!\u00a0 We make it easy for you \u2013 check it out:\u00a0\u00a0PuppetFestivalRevolution.org<\/wbr><\/a><\/p>\n

International Performers are coming (fingers crossed!)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the efforts of UNIMA-USA, led by Irina Niculescu, UNIMA-USA\u2019s liaison to the Puppeteers of America, Puppet\u00a0Festival\u00a0(r)Evolution\u2019s Artistic Direction Committee has received a list of the puppet companies around the world who have been identified as the best of the best, and we\u2019re sending out invitations to them to perform at the\u00a0Festival.\u00a0 Since it takes such a long time to work out the details, including artists\u2019 visas for the US, we won\u2019t be able to announce who\u2019s coming until everything is confirmed.<\/p>\n
