According to an article on Vulture.com, it seems that all the great publicity, good box office numbers, and winning the academy award for the song Man or Muppet have given the muppets the boost they needed to keep going. A sequel is in the works, only it looks like Jason Segel will not be a part of the script writing team this time, as his schedule is already so booked.
