Great Plains Puppet Train Regional Festival – July Update

It’s time to register for the Great Plains Puppet Train! 

PERFORMANCES
Our fabulous performances, most of which have never been seen at a festival, are on the website  Most of the workshops are listed as well!

ACCOMMODATIONS
The $45.00 motel rooms are available through the end of July (beware: prices go way up in August!).
If you like camping, we have an excellent campsite only a 10 minute walk from the festival location.  You can even borrow a camper from one of our generous local residents!

 

In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre:  ARE YOU THIRSTY?

 

SCHEDULE
Thursday:  
The festival starts the evening of Sept. 20 with supper and a performance.
Friday:  will include workshops, performances in our opera house , a catered dinner, and a Puppet Slam.
Saturday: will feature the West Liberty Children’s Festival, complete with five puppet performances and lots of street food and activities, and will end with a delicious catered dinner and another performance.
Sunday: breakfast, one more performance, and farewells to friends, old and new!

REGISTRATION
Registration is only $160.00 (if you act soon!), and meals are $40.00.  If you stay in the motel, we encourage you to share rooms.  It’s a small motel, and we’d like to give everyone a chance.  You can register and pay online (we have Paypal) or you can call 319-627-2487 and leave a message for  Registrar Jeffrey Rees.
